Nanna works as a Project Manager in open programmes and customised client projects. As a Project Manager, she manages project teams by aligning everyone on the processes, design, schedule, and budget, as well as managing client and learner expectations and sparring on the venues, communication, and experiences. Being a solution-oriented person with an agile mindset and a passion for learning and development, video editing, and event planning, she is thrilled to have found a role where all these interests come together seamlessly.
Where I started
I started my journey as a Phonetician and Training Coordinator and have since transitioned into a Learning and Development Specialist and Digital Learning Designer. During Corona pandemic, I fully immersed myself in the corporate HRD world and witnessed firsthand how rapidly learning shifted from traditional classroom settings to virtual and eLearning formats. It was a true learning experience to adapt quickly to overnight change and find innovative remote solutions with engaging learning experiences, such as virtual microlearning and VR trainings, to comprehensive virtual blended learning programmes
Some lessons learned
During my +7 years time in the learning and development field, I also acquired and implemented various learning management systems and expanded my digital learning design skills by revamping onboarding processes in a hyper-scale-up company, designing and building a virtual leadership development hub, and implementing step-by-step a new company-wide performance management enablement plan. By working closely with leaders, managers, and individual contributors, I learned how openness, clear communication and time investment both from the company’s and employees’ side to renewal, new processes and trainings, will positively impact both the work experience and employee work motivation.
Experience, reflect and apply
At Hanken & SSE, no two days or weeks are the same. Whether I'm in the heart of action and collaborating with Program Directors and clients to ensure the best possible learning experiences and outcomes, or internally enhancing PM onboarding experiences and processes development, every project offers new learning opportunities. I get to witness how learning becomes visible and how social interactions elevate individuals. For me, there's always something new to take away from these experiences and apply to the next project.
